Regardless of the type of roof, alignment is crucial. This is the only way it can be assembled closely and properly. For saddle roof, vertical line should be 50-70mm away from the inner part of the side wall, the horizontal line, on the other hand, should be 150mm away the lower purlin.

Place the first plate as close to the contruction line as possible, depending on the undercarriage, fix it on the first shingle of the vertical line. The first line should, by no means, have any holes in it.

The fixation components should be assemled above the pitch of the shingles.

Utmost care should be shown to the alignment of the first row. This is because in long plates, even a misalignment of several mm will cause problems.

For the second row, just like in others, we would recommend to start with the left side of a longitudinally cut plate. 

Thereby, the rows diagonally placed on won’t overlap with the four plates on the right side.

Pre-cut and leftover places won’t be wasted, they could be used for arrangements at the end of the roof.

Finish off the other side in the same manner. In order to assemble the top ridge, allign the horizontal shingle rows on the other side with the first horizontal shingle row.

Attention!
For the triangle part of the four-way inclined hipped roof, the first plate should start off in the middle and then should move on to the corners from the two sides.
